The SARL

near Saint Malo,
in a village named La Gouesnière,
in full heart of an area called " Le
Clos Poulet ".
This country has become since a few decades one of the most important vegetables production zone of France. The competence of men of this area allows it to be known beyond the national borders. |

zone extends on 4 cantons of the North of "l'Ille
et Vilaine" (10
000 ha).
The most important
production is cauliflower
(3500 ha) over a period going from
September to May, followed by potato
(2500 has) with varieties as Starlet, Ostara, Aminca, Nicola,
Lizen... |

is destined as much to the fresh products
market as
to industry.
The SARL Jean-Pierre Maillard
participates extensively in their merchandising
(other varieties: Atlantic, Lady
Bow and record).
Moreover, a product range completes these productions in importants quantities: leek, green cabbage, green cauliflower, artichokes and carrots. |
The SARL Jean-Pierre Maillard is also present on Paimpol and Saint Pol de Léon markets. The company is supplied close to these producers organizations for cauliflower, artichokes, potatoes, broccolis, green cauliflower, etc...
